Salary Range: $15.00 To $15.00 Hourly
Job Summary: Front Desk Receptionists at Healing House, Inc. serve as the primary gatekeepers of our Main Office. They play a crucial role in managing office traffic, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations. The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for anyone entering the building, providing essential assistance, and maintaining a professional environment.
General Accountabilities- Warmly greets visitors, collects necessary information, and notifies relevant personnel of visitor arrivals.
- Manages incoming calls, accurately takes messages, and directs calls to the appropriate individuals.
- Handles package deliveries, signs for packages, and promptly notifies recipients.
- Performs routine clerical tasks and maintains cleanliness in the reception area.
- Manages mail by retrieving, sorting, and distributing it appropriately.
- Adheres to HIPAA regulations when handling calls or inquiries related to Healing House Inc. Participants.
- Assists the Intake Coordinator with scheduling appointments and interviews.
- Enters applications for potential future Healing House Inc. Participants.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
1-2 years of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Critical thinking.
- Typing skills of 35 WPM.
- Proficient in G Suite Apps and other software such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
- Physical Stamina:
The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and being actively engaged with patients and employees during work and employee interactions. - Lifting and Carrying:
There may be occasional requirements to lift or carry lightweight equipment or materials, such as tools or paperwork. - Manual Dexterity:
The position may involve tasks that require the use of hands and fingers, such as typing, writing, and handling materials. - Visual and Auditory Acuity:
The may need to closely observe patients and accurately interpret verbal and non-verbal cues during calls or interviews. - Mobility:
The role may involve the ability to move freely within the facility to conduct interviews, attend meetings, and other office duties. - Sensory Abilities:
This position may require the ability to perceive and respond to environmental and situational factors that are relevant to patient interactions.
