The primary purpose of this position is to support the GSA, located in Kansas City, MO, in the overall accounting and financial activities to handle the administrative and organizational functions necessary for an efficient organization. The accounting services are needed to support financial programs.

• Provides onsite project management/supervision for all personnel under this task order. Responsible for coordinating matters of mutual concern with government contacts, including but not limited to scheduling, leave, and work quality.
• Lead Liaison between GSA and External Clients
• Develop annual MOU s (Memo of Understanding) and SLA s (Service Level Agreements) for each external client.
• Monitor monthly spending levels of Clients to ensure that spending is within the agreed-upon levels.
• Accrue monthly and invoice on a quarterly basis actual charge to the Client. At the end of the fiscal year, adjust budgeted spending to actual spending.
• Work closely with GSA s External Services division using the Federal government s G-Invoicing system to ensure Clients are invoiced according to their contract promptly.
• Transmit bi-weekly payroll records to outside vendors to use in their automated Income verification processes.
• Develop the annual GSA Payroll calendar, GSA Payroll Newsletter, and various other announcements which are posted on the GSA Payroll Services Website.
• Develop the annual FYE/CYE Task database.
• Maintain database of all current Clients to be used for email distribution of various payroll-related announcements and distribute emails to external clients as requested by Branch Chiefs.
• Send out various payroll reports to external Clients On a bi-weekly basis.
• Work with Branch Chiefs on special projects.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or auditing.
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting/auditing in Federal space.
• Previous experience managing/leading others in a supervisory role
• Strong MS Excel skills/ Advanced MS Excel skills
• A passion for learning, continuous improvement, and personal growth.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Knowledge of accounting/financial theory and practice.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with other departments, locations, divisions, and external customers.
• Experience showing a focus on accuracy/attention to detail.
