Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

Our client is seeking a bright, motivated, and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing team. This is a newly created role driven by consistent company growth and is expected to evolve over time. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and interested in building a long-term career within a stable, team-oriented environment.

Must be able to work onsite: 7am-3:30pm

• Prepare, distribute, and track customer invoices
• Maintain and monitor aging reports
• Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, invoice disputes, and overdue accounts
• Follow up on outstanding balances and support timely collections
• Answer incoming calls and emails
• Perform accurate data entry and record keeping
• Assist with compliance tracking and documentation
• Support general administrative tasks as needed

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, auditing, or financial analysis
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and business needs
• Experience with Sage 300 or Smartsheet preferred (training provided); or strong Excel skills
• Industry experience or related industry background preferred
