Overview
3rd Shift starts at 7pm and ends at 3:30am, Sunday through Thursday. $18.00 per hour, 40 hour week, possible overtime. Medical insurance after 30 days, 401k after 90 days. Responsible for supporting the clerical activities related to receiving of product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Check drivers in and out
- Verify quantities / look for discrepancies between what was ordered vs shipped, and then shipped vs received
- Record / verify weights for weighted items (fresh meat and dairy)
- Door lives / drops / backhauls across 130 doors based on a variety of factors (i.e. commodity, pallet quantity, manpower, etc.)
- Print / fold labels
- Communicate any discrepancies with order to drivers
- Filling out Google / Excel Sheets for discrepancies
- Schedule / reschedule last minute orders in Blu Jay (e2open)
- Answer phones inquiring about status of drivers / delivery times
- Handle will-call paperwork
- Take previous days’ paperwork to the mail trailer
- Other clerical duties as needed by warehouse supervisor
Any combination of education, training and experience providing the following knowledge, skills and abilities, EXPERIENCE SKILL LEVEL:
Standard English usage. Count and perform basic mathematical calculations, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, read at the ninth grade level and keypunch accurately at the rate of 150 kpm.
Perform bending, squatting, and reaching from floor level to six feet in height in the process of counting inventory. Must be able to sit for a duration of two hours for data entry. Must be able to stand for 50% of the day. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
WORKING ENVIRONMENTIndoors and outdoors. Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from
-10 degrees to 100 degrees F and in constant noise. Must be alert to the safety hazards of warehouse traffic.
