Overview

Pick Up and Delivery Driver – Kansas City, KS. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a detail-oriented driver to pick up and deliver Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center products in a timely and professional manner.

• All aspects of pickup and delivery of new and retreaded commercial tires, casings and related products between Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers locations, customers and Goodyear dealers.
• Maintain customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Assist with loading and unloading tires, casings, wheels, mounted wheel assemblies and related products while following all safety rules and procedures.
• Complete required documentation with each delivery.
• Provide Service Excellence to meet the service goals of the location and customers.
• Keep maintenance records up to date on assigned equipment (e.g., DOT Log).
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods (heavy lifting of tires and wheels, standing, bending, squatting).

• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle type and ability to meet commercial driver qualifications.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• No relocation offered for this position.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous delivery driving experience.

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Commitment to safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment as part of a team.
• Self-starter, able to work without direct supervision and willing to participate in training sessions.
