Role SummaryThe Asset Protection Associate safeguards people, products, and property across our supply chain operations. This role blends proactive risk prevention with responsive incident handling, working on the floor and at workstations to ensure safety, shrink reduction, and compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, HR, and Transportation to keep our network secure.
Schedule:
Sunday - Wednesday (4:00am - 2:30pm)
- Be Supportive:
Help associates feel safe and heard by providing confidential channels for reporting concerns (theft, harassment, unsafe practices). - Be Resourceful:
Leverage tools (CCTV & access control) to identify risk indicators for potential opportunities for loss to occur. - Be Professional:
Document thoroughly with clear incident reports and statements. - Be Diligent:
Monitor and review CCTV for risk signals (unauthorized access, process bypass, unsafe behaviors, product handling anomalies). - Be Approachable:
Communicate clearly and calmly during tense situations; de-escalate when possible. - Be Precise:
Follow SOPs exactly for access control, visitor sign-in, driver check-in/out, and badge management. - Be Flexible:
Adapt to dynamic operations—shift priorities for hot loads, weather events, carrier delays, or system outages. - Be Available:
Work varied schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak volume or incidents.
- Experience:
1–3 years in asset protection/loss prevention, security, or operations in a supply chain/warehouse environment preferred. - Skills:
Strong situational awareness and attention to detail, clear verbal/written communication; de-escalation capability and familiarity with CCTV, access control, and badge systems. - Certifications (Preferred):
First Aid/CPR/AED. - Technology:
Proficient with MS Office/365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams), incident management tools, and digital evidence handling. - Must be able to understand written and oral directions in English.
- Must be able to write in English.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time.
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds.
