As a Security Guard - Industrial Entry Monitor in Kansas City, MO
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What You ll Do
  • Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors, following established procedures.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at entry and exit points.
  • Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from employees and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following site-specific protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or activities according to company and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support overall security-related objectives at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Minimum Requirements
  • CPR and First Aid are preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver s license will be required for driving positions only.
