Outside Sales Representative

Summary/Objective

The outside sales representative position sells services and products using organizational, product, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying Hyspeco’s products/services to provide solutions that meet their needs resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.

• Makes sales contacts, researches customer needs and develops application of products and services.
• Develops and delivers sales presentations and closes sales.
• Participates in sales forecasting and planning.
• Participates in development of new products, modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products.
• Manages technical aspects of committees and working groups.
• Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.
• Upholds Hyspeco Safety and Personnel Policies.
• Upholds ISO 9001:2015 requirements as defined in Hyspeco’s quality procedures / processes.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
