Territory Manager (Neuroscience) (Kansas City KS)

The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a business/sales plan for maximizing net sales and conducting business/sales with key targeted healthcare providers.
Responsibilities- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. to meet or exceed objectives.
- Create pre‑call plan objectives and execute post‑call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections and concerns to close every sales call.
- Proactively and continuously serve customer needs, expectations and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win‑win agreements between client and customers.
- Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise; share this market intelligence with the in‑field team, brand team and sales manager to achieve alignment, anticipate environmental changes and optimize brand strategy and execution.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2–3 years of successful business‑to‑business sales, pharmaceutical sales, or similar experience preferred.
- Psychiatry sales experience a plus.
- Resides in or within proximity to the assigned geography required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving history to operate a company vehicle.
- Driving in a geographically large territory for long periods of time each day.
- Travel 50–75%; overnight travel may be required.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds is required; reasonable accommodations can be provided for those unable to lift 25 pounds.
The range of starting base pay for this role is 90,000–110,000. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either our annual bonus program or a sales incentive plan.
