Inventory Control Assistant

Overview

Position Summary:

Insure the accuracy of all items in the warehouse by verifying inventory counts, descriptions, expiration dates, and UPCs.

Work Hours:

3am-11:30am, Monday thru Friday. Possibility of working on Sundays as needed.

Pay: $18/hr

Guaranteed 40 hours per week with possible overtime.

Benefits plus Insurance after 90 days.

The individual must have the ability to perform the responsibilities listed below. The list is not all inclusive of duties that may be requested by the department head or a member of upper management but are intended for an understanding of the purpose of the position. It is the responsibility of each individual at AWG to provide ultimate customer service to our members to support their efforts in increasing same store sales and profits.

• Ability to work on feet for approximately half the day or more
• Mathematical skills
• Use computer programs and email to update counts, compile reports, and communicate with buyers
• Research warehouse scratches
• Perform slot checks for buyers
• Verify close/short dated inventory
• Verify inventory in aisles as assigned
• Make appropriate adjustments
• Research large inventory discrepancies
• Check, research, and correct any receiving problem pallets
• Prepare spreadsheets on staged inventory
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
