Position SummaryAs a salaried member of the leadership team, your day will vary from overseeing and driving the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB credit program and CLUB customer experience culture throughout the store, to supporting the entire team during your Manager on Duty shifts. Our most successful CLUB Membership Managers are those who inspire others, influence through strong relationships, serve as servant leaders, coach and train store leadership, handle multitasking, and are metrics‑ and compliance‑driven.
EssentialFunctions Customer Experience
- Consistently exemplify outstanding CLUB Customer Service Experience standards by incorporating exclusive benefits into conversations and promoting current CLUB cost savings programs.
- Actively listen to customers to address questions and concerns about the CLUB program, and develop and implement strategies to improve the customer experience.
- Serve as the primary CLUB liaison to ensure the retail leadership team and all outfitters are knowledgeable regarding current promotions and programs.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute successful onsite and offsite events representative of the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB brand standards.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with the General Manager, fellow managers, and outfitters.
- Motivate and inspire outfitters, providing the tools and training to be confident in their approach to referrals.
- Lead by example, serve as a role model and coach for peers and outfitters.
- Facilitate CLUB 101 training with all new Outfitters during onboarding.
- Support Outfitter recognition through Members Only program and store‑level initiatives.
- Create a strategy around recruiting and retaining great talent.
- Promote a positive, outfitter‑centric culture with timely, honest feedback and individualized development plans.
- Design and execute strategies to meet key CLUB metrics.
- Review and analyze CLUB reporting daily for key performance metrics.
- Partner with General Manager to lead corrective action plans.
- Execute all CLUB operational and compliance programs, and improve execution of all department functions.
- Lead the CLUB instant issuance process, training others on inventory management procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Degree:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Years of experience: 2 to 4+ years Sales, Management, or Leadership Experience.
- Calculate figures and amounts (discounts, commissions, percentages).
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions.
- Interpret various financial, legal, and technical information.
- Read, analyze reports, and write business correspondence.
- Present information and respond to questions from managers, associates, customers, and the public.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to groups.
- Proficiency with PC‑based word processing, spreadsheets, data‑based management, and electronic point‑of‑sale and inventory management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Demonstrated use of the Team concept of Management.
- As needed for training and CLUB off‑site events.
- Constant communication with others.
- Regular computer work, walking, standing.
- Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
- Occasional outdoor work in hot and cold temperatures.
- Occasional work in noisy environments.
