Job Overview

Apply to be the Evening Shift Manager for McDonald’s. This position is located at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not by McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters: hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

McDonald’s USA has no control over these matters.

Managers lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and fellow managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.

Shift Managers plan for each shift, monitor performance, take action to meet McDonald’s standards, oversee safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to ensure smooth transition. They also help departments meet their goals and may be responsible for meeting operational targets.

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We seek positive team players with a flexible schedule, enthusiasm for a fast‑paced environment, and a minimum age of 18. Additional qualifications include strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00
