Resource Nurse (RN) - Friday‑Sunday 8am‑8pm

Brighton Hospice seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. Our goal is to transform hospice care by delivering exceptional service. As a CHAP‑certified hospice, we increase staff‑to‑patient ratios, enhancing clinical visits and lowering clinician caseloads.

The RN provides care and services for a group of patients, visiting them at private homes, skilled nursing facilities, or assisted living. The RN works as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary team, offering expertise on psych‑social assessments, interventions and community resources. The RN may work in Case Management, Admissions or a Resource role.

• Current RN licensure in good standing in the state(s) of practice
• Team player who collaborates daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and CNA leadership
• Strong ability to work independently and manage phone, email, written communication and meetings with healthcare professionals
• Excellent time‑management skills for scheduling visits, documentation, meetings and prioritizing urgent needs
• Ability to learn an electronic medical records system
• Willing to drive with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance; able to travel across the service area
