Backed by the success of our core location in Wichita, Kansas, this is an opportunity to take the lead in opening a fresh market with the full support of a proven team behind you. The OpportunityWe’re hiring a General Manager to launch and lead our new Kansas City office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building your team, driving sales and production, and representing the AR Roofing brand in a new market. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership position—ideal for someone who thrives on connection, ownership, and action.
You’ll receive operational support from our Wichita headquarters, including systems, processes, and experienced team members who are dedicated to helping you succeed. What you bring is leadership, heart, and the drive to build a high-performing local operation that reflects AR Roofing’s commitment to excellence and family-first values.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage a local team across sales, project supervision, and administrative support
- Oversee all daily operations, including customer experience, job scheduling, and site visits
- Drive retail sales activity and ensure revenue growth in the new market
- Collaborate with the Wichita support team for operational systems and back-end needs
- Track and report KPIs related to sales, profitability, and team performance
- Uphold AR Roofing’s reputation for trust, quality, and integrity in every interaction
- Foster a team culture that’s aligned with our family-first approach

- Highly adaptable and resourceful—you’re not afraid to build the boat while floating it

- Comfortable navigating early-stage ambiguity while building structure over time
- Naturally sales-minded—able to engage with customers, build relationships, and lead a team toward revenue goals
- Experienced in home services, construction, or a service-oriented industry
- Confident in your ability to lead both in the field and in the office
- 5+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a sales-forward or service-based role
- Background in home services, roofing, or residential construction is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Passion for building something meaningful with a team that feels like family
- Willingness to be hands-on in the early stages, building trust and processes from the ground up
