Leading distributor of door hardware, doors & frames, locksmithing tools, access control systems, video surveillance equipment, and related security products is seeking a full-time employee for a Branch Manager position.

Based in Kansas City, KS, the individual in this position is responsible for all aspects of running the facility. The successful manager will drive sales growth, operational excellence, and productivity improvements. Activities range from helping customers by phone or in person and working closely with our outside sales rep to pursue selling opportunities.

• Manage the day to day operation
• Inside sales and customer service activities
• Warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping)
• Branch inventory optimization
• Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders
• Training seminars and branch counter days
• Marketing program implementation at the local level
• This individual should excel in a team-oriented work environment -- working with the branch staff to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and providing contributions that support customer retention goals and company/branch growth objectives.
• Key Working Relationships:

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager. The individual will work closely with other staff members and with the local Outside Sales representative.

• Experience with locksmithing, security hardware and/or related items
• 1 to 3 years branch management experience (distribution industry preferred)
• Strong computer and analytical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Team player
