Are you a master of detail, dedicated to precision, and committed to delivering reliable results? Worcester Communities is seeking a meticulous and dependable Maintenance Technician I to ensure our community operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Maintenance Technician I, you’ll be the backbone of our community, ensuring the physical condition of the property meets our high standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute Maintenance Tasks: Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and in a timely manner. Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Prepare Apartments: Restore apartments to “market ready” status, including appliance repair, painting, and fixture replacement.
  • Uphold Safety and Standards: Adhere to company safety and hazard communication programs. Inspect grounds and buildings to minimize liability concerns.
  • Maintain Curb Appeal: Assist in daily cleanup of the community exterior, ensuring excellent curb appeal at all times.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Detail-Oriented and Thorough: You possess a strong focus on accuracy and take pride in completing tasks with precision.
  • Reliable and Dependable: You follow instructions, meet deadlines, and take ownership of your work.
  • Problem-Solver: You enjoy identifying issues, finding effective solutions, and ensuring long‑term resolutions.
  • Organized and Efficient: You maintain a clean workspace, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks to maximize productivity.
  • Team Player: You collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with residents and vendors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance; reliable vehicle required.
  • 1+ year of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Basic hand tools and ability to use general maintenance equipment.
  • Computer skills:
    Microsoft Office, Google Business Suite, Entrata Property Management Software.
