Accounts Receivable Specialist

A multi‑site ophthalmology practice in Kansas City is looking for an Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist as they prepare for a major transition to ECW (eClinical

Works). This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a role where their experience genuinely matters. You’ll be supporting the team through an EMR change that will influence day to day operations across several locations.

• You’ll take the lead on billing, AR, denials, claims, and appeals across multiple practices.
• You’ll partner closely with a small billing team and offer support as the group moves over to ECW.
• Your recent ECW experience will help shape new workflows and make the transition smoother for everyone.
• You’ll play an important part in strengthening RCM processes and improving accuracy and efficiency.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with administrators, solving problems, and helping things run smoothly during periods of change.

• Recent, hands‑on ECW (eClinical
  
  Works) experience.
• Strong background in ophthalmology billing or RCM (multi‑site experience is a plus).
• Comfortable managing or overseeing a small billing team.
• Solid understanding of AR processes, denials management, and claims workflows.
