Medication Technician

We are working with a healthcare services organization that is expanding its team in Overland Park, Kansas and is hiring a Medication Technician. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people navigate complex healthcare processes and wants to make a real difference in patient outcomes through thoughtful coordination and follow up.

In this position, you will act as the central connection between patients, pharmacies, providers, and assistance programs. Your focus will be ensuring patients receive timely access to prescribed specialty medications while maintaining clear communication and accurate documentation throughout the process.

What You’ll Do

• Guide patients through eligibility requirements and confirm qualification for assistance programs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned patients, providing updates and answering questions
• Communicate regularly with pharmacies, healthcare providers, and assistance program partners
• Track case activity and maintain accurate, timely records within the CRM system
• Review open cases and follow up on pending requests to ensure smooth progression
• Research available support programs for specialty medications and identify the best options for each patient
• Assist patients and provider offices with completing required forms and applications
• Deliver high quality service while resolving issues promptly and escalating concerns when appropriate

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, patient services, or benefits support is a plus

Logistics

• Compensation: $24–$26 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours
