Overview

Public Finance Investment Banking Analyst position at Piper Sandler, based in Leawood, KS. The role supports the public finance team in connecting capital with opportunity to finance projects for not-for-profits, governments, and developers building the country's infrastructure.

• Participate in all steps related to bond transactions, from RFP responses to preparing bond sizing cash flows and debt profiles, to transaction processes.
• Interact directly with senior bankers and clients in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
• Support analysts in executing financings for public sector and not-for-profit clients.

• Degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, management, engineering or related fields
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• High achievement in team settings and demonstrated integrity and accountability
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and professional presence with clients

Location:

Leawood, KS. Salary range anticipated for interest in this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, with eligibility for annual incentive compensation. The program is designed to be competitive with the market.
