Job Description- The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of multi-discipline turbo machinery design and development projects, including the support of proposal writing, satisfaction of all project technical and contractual requirements, and cost and schedule targets. Individually manages large projects to ensure successful completion of work such that departmental business goals are met.

- This position requires strong project management skills. Describe a challenging project and how you handled the situation? What tools and metrics did you use to effectively manage project work?
- In an R&D environment, solving challenging technical problems in a team setting is a daily activity. Provide an example of a challenging technical problem you tackled as a team, and what you did to solve it as a team. Be specific.

REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer (or related) for new product development or design improvement
- 5+ years of experience with structural analysis for mechanical design including static, modal, vibration and life analysis
- 5+ years of experience with FEA
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Technical Lead in an R&D/prototyping environments
- Recent experience with ANSYS or similar design analysis software
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM)
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related
- US citizen or Permanent Resident
DESIRED
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Experience with turbo machinery design or development
- Experience with ISO 9001 or AS 9100 standards
