Project Manager - Life Sciences
, you will join the team responsible for execution of Delta

V projects focused on the Life Sciences industries up to $20M in value within Emerson’s Systems and Software business leader in the process automation industry. You can be based in one of our engineering center offices in Houston, TX;
Blue Bell, PA;
Durham, NC;
Round Rock, TX;
St. Louis, MO; and Kansas City, KS.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks in collaboration with the project team and customers.
  • Lead projects to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Communicate and manage project changes that impact cost and/or schedule with customers.
  • Assist in proposal development by estimating project management and controls efforts, creating preliminary schedules, defining execution strategies, and performing risk assessments.

For This Role, You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience working on control system projects with at least 5 of those years in Life Science
  • 5+ years as a Project Manager
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects involving scope, financials, schedule, risk, quality, and customer relationships
  • Ability to travel to client and other Emerson locations up to 25% of the time
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum project execution
  • Familiarity with Delta
