Job Description
Benesch, in partnership with Buffer Springs, is offering a DoD Skill Bridge internship for transitioning military professionals with a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. This track is designed for candidates who are not pursuing licensure but still want to lead, contribute, and grow in the civilian infrastructure space.

As a Skill Bridge participant, you'll gain experience on real-world infrastructure and transportation projects. You'll be embedded with a project team and exposed to planning, field inspection, contractor coordination, and documentation. This internship gives you the experience you need to confidently launch your next chapter in the construction industry without requiring licensure or technical certification upfront.

You will have opportunities to work alongside Construction Representatives, Managers, and Engineers, depending on your background and the projects underway. If you're ready to turn your military leadership into a new civilian mission, this is your runway.
