Job DescriptionOlsson’s Facility Engineering and Design Team is recognized for delivering innovative solutions on technically complex, large‑scale projects across diverse industries—including commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations. Our work demands precision, creativity, and collaboration to achieve world‑class results.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer
, you will be a technical leader and strategic partner, driving excellence in design and execution for projects that shape communities and industries. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals who combine deep technical expertise with leadership and mentoring skills.
- Lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects and serve as the primary engineer on large projects with advanced technical requirements.
- Set quality standards by developing and enforcing rigorous QA/QC processes.
- Mentor and elevate team members by providing technical guidance and training.
- Organize technical resources, review contracts, and guide design strategies to meet project goals.
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Champion best practices for project execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met without compromising quality.
You are passionate about:
- Working collaboratively with others.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with proven success on complex building systems and multi‑industry projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Expertise in HVAC design for vertical infrastructure (healthcare, labs, mission‑critical facilities).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
