The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our academic surgical faculty at our NCI‑Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position is ideal for a surgeon committed to academic excellence, multidisciplinary cancer care, and advancing the field through research, innovation, and education.

- A dedicated Breast Surgical Oncology practice, including call responsibilities integrated with a supportive and collegial team

Required Qualifications
:
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Board Eligible/ Board Certified in General Surgery
- Completion of a specialized fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship or Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship with a breast emphasis
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Faculty in the Division of Breast Surgical Oncology participate in a vibrant academic ecosystem that includes:

- Teaching and mentoring responsibilities with:
- An SSO‑accredited Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship (one fellow per year)
- General Surgery residents (six per year)
- Medical students from the University of Kansas School of Medicine
Faculty are encouraged to engage in curriculum development, lecture series, operative and clinical teaching, and scholarly educational contributions.
