The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Endocrinology, has a faculty position opening for an Endocrinologist to join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering high-quality care, teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's qua ternary referral center.
This position offers a multifaceted role focused on providing patient care across ambulatory clinics, inpatient consults, and on-call services, with emphasis on meticulous documentation for comprehensive medical follow-up and timely billing. The role includes educating and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and classroom settings, and evaluating their progress.
A significant aspect involves active involvement in research within the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Genetics, including trials and grant-funded studies, plus collaboration within the Division, Department, and School faculty activities as schedule allows.
The selected individual will be appointed at the Assistant Professor level within the Department, joining a team committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Qualifications- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas
- Fellowship-trained and board certified/board eligible in Endocrinology
