The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our highly skilled academic surgical faculty at our NCI?
Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position is ideal for a surgeon committed to academic excellence, multidisciplinary cancer care, and advancing the field through research, innovation, and education.
Key Position Highlights:
As a core member of our breast surgical oncology team, the selected candidate will practice within a high- volume tertiary care academic center serving a multi-state region. The position includes:
- A dedicated Breast Surgical Oncology practice, including call responsibilities integrated with a supportive and collegial team

- Eligibility requires Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship training or Complex General Surgical Oncology training with a breast emphasis
This role is designed for a surgeon who thrives in a multidisciplinary academic environment and seeks opportunities for clinical leadership, research, program-building, and mentorship.
Required Qualifications:
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Board Eligible/ Board Certified in General Surgery
- Completion of a specialized fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship or Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship with a breast emphasis
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
