The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) is seeking a board eligible/board certified physiatrist for a full-time faculty position with training and interest in Oncology Rehabilitation. This individual will be hired at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor (tenure or non-tenure track) based on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and expertise in Oncology Rehabilitation, including lymphedema management and pain management.
Join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care and to growing innovative rehabilitation services for oncology patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help expand and advance the Oncology Rehabilitation Program within The University of Kansas Health System, the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in both the Kansas City metropolitan area and the state of Kansas.
Candidates should possess excellent clinical skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to education and research. Both clinical and basic science research are encouraged and supported, with laboratory facilities available to facilitate scholarly activity. All faculty members are expected to take an active role in the integrated PM&R residency program as well as the Oncology Rehabilitation fellowship program.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board eligible / board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in Oncology Rehabilitation
