As an Infant / Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. You’ll build meaningful relationships with infants and their families while supporting key milestones through engaging care and learning activities.
Qualifications - Requirements (Experience is a Must)- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare program.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred or working toward one.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
- Knowledge of infant/toddler development, health & safety practices, and licensing regulations.
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and actively participate in daily infant/toddler care.
- Provide loving, responsive care that supports emotional and developmental growth.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate sensory and motor activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
- Observe, document, and communicate daily routines and milestones with parents.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing and health/safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and administrators to maintain a high-quality program.
