Operations Manager
Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Capital Projects Manager to work within our Kansas City, MO market.
The Capital Projects Manager will manage a team that performs financial activity tasks, including analyzing, evaluating, reporting, planning, or modifying a wide variety of telecommunication installation types. This role also provides daily guidance, assistance, and supervision of Procurement Coordinators, clearly identifying job and project priorities to meet departmental and company objectives. The leader ensures the team manages project budgets, reports accounting and inventory variances, and processes job closings in a timely manner.
The incumbent works with leadership and other departments to improve employee processes and procedures, gaining efficiency within the department and across the company, and enhances reporting systems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 1 year of general accounting experience; 1 year of management experience.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Development and knowledge of financial and accounting standards related to capital expenditures, accruals, and forecasting.
- Ability to place purchase orders/change orders accurately and timely with vendors, as directed by the construction teams.
- Review and process vendor invoices.
- Track inventory usage during construction cycle.
- Analyze and report variances from project estimates.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay Range: $70,800 - $88,500
