Lewis Rice has an immediate opening for a part-time or full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our downtown Kansas City team.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform general case management, document production, and document management
- Draft discovery requests, deposition notices, subpoenas, and garnishments
- Assist with and attend depositions and trials
- Collect, organize, and summarize medical records and medical bills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with case filings and electronic court docketing/filing systems
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Self‑motivated with the ability to thrive in a fun, fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Office and trial software
This position offers competitive compensation based on experience. While we support flexibility where possible, this role is primarily in‑office to best support our litigation team.
