Workwear Technical Executive

We are looking for a Workwear Technical Executive to join our technical and compliance team. This role will focus on developing, certifying, and scaling our protective workwear for Europe and the Americas, including Arc Flash suits, Fire Proximity suits, FR garments, and multi-norm PPE.

This is a core role responsible for ensuring that our products are technically sound, certified, and ready for demanding international markets.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage technical specifications for Arc Flash, Fire Proximity, FR and multi-norm garments including fabric systems, layers, reinforcements, and construction methods

• Create and maintain detailed tech packs, BOMs, size charts, and tolerances for safety-critical garments

• Work with fabric and trim suppliers on FR fabrics, aluminised fabrics, insulation layers, reflective tapes, threads, and closures

• Lead sampling, fit approvals, and construction approvals for technical workwear

• Own product certification processes for markets such as Europe, UK, and North America

• Coordinate with test labs and certification bodies for standards such as EN ISO 11612, IEC 61482, NFPA 2112, EN 20471, ASTM, and related PPE norms

• Prepare and manage technical files, compliance documents, and test submissions

• Translate customer technical specifications from European and US buyers into production-ready garments

• Support sales and marketing teams with certified product data, performance claims, and technical documentation

• Investigate any compliance, quality, or field performance issues and drive corrective actions

• Ensure consistency between lab-tested samples, approved specs, and bulk production

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in garment technology, textile engineering, or a related technical field

• Experience in protective clothing, FR garments, PPE, or industrial workwear

• Strong understanding of arc flash, flame, heat, and molten metal protection systems

• Familiarity with European and US PPE standards and certification processes

• Experience working with testing labs and certification agencies is a strong advantage

• Ability to create and interpret detailed tech packs and compliance documentation

• High attention to detail and strong follow-up discipline

• Comfortable working with suppliers, factories, and international customers

• Good written and verbal communication skills
