Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Kanpur. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. Responsibilities include managing budgets, processing invoices, managing payroll, reconciling accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and collaborating with internal teams for financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
Experience in managing Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
Proficiency in Accounting Software and tools, as well as expertise in Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented with excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA or CA) are an advantage
Previous experience in the FMCG or agricultural sector will be considered a plus
