Position Summary

Retail Store Associate at CVS Health plays a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. The role is focused on providing outstanding customer service in a high‑impact, people‑centric retail environment. The associate works both independently and as part of a team, supporting daily store operations and the overall shopping experience.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist with locating items.
• Perform cashier duties: handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor through restocking shelves, checking vendor deliveries, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when required, including working regular pharmacy shifts as part of growth opportunities.
• Promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our health‑care purpose.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright for sustained periods and lift up to 35 lbs occasionally (10 lbs frequently). Must perform visual tasks such as reading computer screens and inspecting small parts.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

• Pay range: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour (base rate).
