BARTENDER

Job Summary

This is a seasonal, event‑based part‑time bartender role at Levy Restaurants, with a primary duration from April to September. Pay range is $12.00 to $12.00.

• Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up assigned bar, requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Maintain stock, prepare, cure and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
• Check guests at the bar for proper identification and detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
• Receives cash, makes change, verifies validity of charges and records charges while ensuring vouchers are properly executed.
• Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display and washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Must possess the ability to obtain a valid alcohol servers’ permit.
