Overview
The Scientist – Bioanalytical Science/DMPK will serve as a study scientist for pharmacokinetics (PK), toxicokinetic (TK), and bioanalysis projects, covering both small and large molecules (including ADCs, peptides, nucleic acids). This role balances project leadership with hands-on laboratory work, ensuring high-quality experimental data while managing timelines, resources, and client communications. The incumbent will collaborate across functional teams to design and implement studies, troubleshoot scientific challenges, and deliver results that guide drug discovery and optimization.
Responsibilities- Act as project lead for assigned PK/TK/bioanalytical studies; design study plans and timelines in alignment with client and internal objectives
- Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for small and large molecules (e.g., LC-MS/MS, HPLC, ELISA, MSD)
- Perform laboratory work including sample preparation, instrument operation, data collection, and analysis
- Interpret and integrate experimental results; prepare and review technical reports for clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with in vivo pharmacology, in vitro biology, biomarkers, and QA teams to ensure seamless study execution
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff when required
- Contribute to troubleshooting of assay or instrumentation issues, offering practical solutions
- PhD degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related discipline
- Strong foundation in pharmacokinetics, DMPK principles, and analytical chemistry
