Village School teachers will function as headmasters and teachers, and possibly also as secretary. While contemporary schools are developed from the outset to decrease each teacher’s autonomy, and in doing so dilute the harm they might inflict, the village school grants each teacher great authority, equips them to exercise it, and holds them accountable for how they use it, multiplying the good they might do.
The form of the village school assumes trustworthy, capable teachers.
