Non CDL Driver - Warehouse Associate

Overview

Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. Richards Building Supply is seeking a Non CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate for our Kankakee, IL location. 1st Shift core hours are 7 AM to 4 PM.

• Receive materials in the warehouse
• Load trucks and process inventory
• Fulfill warehouse duties and, when needed, make deliveries in a non-CDL vehicle (including loading and unloading your vehicle with materials)

• 20 PAID DAYS OFF (includes PTO, Holidays and Family Focused Company Closure between Christmas and New Years)

• Willing to fulfill warehouse duties as well as make deliveries when needed
• Forklift operating experience desired
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Heavy lifting experience
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area

$18 - $22 an hour
