Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for various tasks including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing Shipments
    • Receive incoming shipments, verify for accuracy, and inspect for damages.
    • Sort, label, and store items according to organizational standards.
  • Picking and Packing Orders
    • Fulfill customer orders by retrieving items from shelves, pallets, or storage areas.
    • Ensure that orders are accurate and prepare them for shipment.
    • Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Stocking and Organizing Inventory
    • Maintain organized inventory storage locations.
    • Rotate stock and conduct regular inventory counts.
    • Ensure that inventory is easily accessible and properly labeled.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workspace
    • Keep warehouse and work areas clean and free of hazards.
    • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
    • Report any safety issues or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Operating Warehouse Equipment
    • Use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers safely and efficiently.
    • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect products for defects or damages before shipping.
    • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Coordinating with Other Departments
    • Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams as well as other departments to ensure smooth operations.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding inventory status and workload.
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
    • Complete tasks in accordance with established SOPs to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Preparing Documentation
    • Generate and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
    • Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other documentation as needed.
  • Handling Returns
    • Process customer returns in accordance with company policies.
    • Inspect returned items and determine appropriate disposition.
