Electrician role at IKO North America
. IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. This role aims to maximize plant performance and run time through troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment, while upholding all safety rules/regulations and adhering to IKO values.

Compensation: $34.68 - $43.16 per hour

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and fuse disconnects.
• Manage assigned work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
• Work in a team environment with other maintenance personnel.
• Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command.
• Work with computers, line drives, and PLCs.
• Understand and comply with all safety rules.
• Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics.
• Organize the work area, tools, and parts.
• Work with minimal supervision; manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities.
• The position is subject to 24-hour call-out; shift and weekend work.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in high-up areas.

• Knowledge of Safety Systems and their application/use
• Minimum of five years of electrical maintenance experience in a plant setting
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs, and Programming
• Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting using remote HMI
• Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
