CNC Mill Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to support 1st shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to safety and quality.

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts to specification
• Load programs, adjust offsets, and monitor machine performance during production
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Measure parts using precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
• Document production results and report issues to supervisors

• Previous experience operating CNC milling machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Proficiency with measuring and inspection tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on 1st shift in a production environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls
• Basic CNC programming or editing experience
• Experience in machining steel, aluminum, or other metals

• Consistent 1st shift schedule with no rotating shifts
