The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets customers, treats fellow associates with respect, maintains a clean work area, follows all company best‑practice standards, presents merchandise properly, and performs a range of functions across the store as needed. The Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks to help achieve customer service and operational goals.

• Safely practice safe behaviors and maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor.
• Keep the sales floor uncluttered and ensure clear egress to emergency exits.
• Treat all customers and associates with respect and courtesy.
• Assist customers in any way necessary, including register training and answering questions, greeting them, and thanking them at each transaction.
• Respond to customer service calls immediately and handle all customer issues courteously, calling leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, replenishing restroom supplies, and disinfecting high‑touch areas to maintain a clean store.
• Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform daily assigned sizing and recovery per company best practice to keep the store neat, clean, and merchandised.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor with urgency, merchandize it per monthly presentation guidelines, and maintain brand familiarity within departments.
• Understand loss‑prevention awareness programs, the Shortage Highway, and merchandise protection standards.
• Safeguard confidential information, cash, credit card info, and merchandise.
• Follow all Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock (MOS) policies and dispose of unsaleable items after notifying leadership.
• Follow all policies regarding cash, check, charge‑card, and refund transactions, voids, and offline procedures.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and maximize productivity by executing best practices and minimizing workflow steps.

Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative, and pleasant manner. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

• Use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC.
• Spend up to 100 % of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
• Regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
• Certain assignments may require other qualifications and skills.
• Stockroom shifts require regularly pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 20 pounds.

Base pay range: $15.00 – $15.50 per hour. Compensation may vary by location and include additional rewards.
