- You will fabricate, overhaul, modify, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic equipment.
- You will maintain electronic equipment of limited complexity such as sub-assemblies, printed circuit cards, and chassis.
- You will utilize standard techniques and tools to make repairs entailing similar tasks as directed on less complex electronic equipment.
- You will perform standard soldering operations on multiple sub-assemblies, such as printed circuit boards, cable/harness assemblies, connectors, and power supply assemblies.
- You will operate automated test equipment (STE) to perform standardized testing operations and utilize test equipment following prescribed procedures to determine repairs.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States/Territory driver’s license.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes as required.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
