Funeral Arranger

North Star Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Arranger to join our team at Hawaiian Memorial Park. United by a common desire to serve, Funeral Arrangers at North Star share a pride in their profession that extends beyond the workday. The Funeral Arranger is responsible for providing a source of support, guidance, and direction to families before, during and after the loss of a loved one.

This position also manages all phases of the funeral arrangement including the removal of the deceased, selecting and setting up funeral services to final disposition.

• Arrange and assist with funeral and memorial services for families
• Prepare the memorial area for the family before the services start
• Maintain reverence and respect for the deceased at all times
• Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed

• A caring heart, and a passion for helping the community in need
• 1+ year of funeral industry experience preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.
• Professional communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner

• Starting rate: $21/hr., increasing to $23/hr. once certified.
• Additional monthly performance-based pay is offered, and incentive compensation includes both base pay and commission.
• Guaranteed earnings: $23/hr., with potential to reach $30+ /hr. through the bonus plan.
• Full-time schedule, with rotating schedule, with availability needed until 6:30 p.m. and possible weekends
• Typical schedule:
  
  Tuesday–Saturday, off Sunday/Monday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
