Shift: Monday to Friday: 2:00am - 8:00am (27.5 hours per week)

Pay Rate: $23.63/hour

Location: 800 Laval Crescent, Kamloops, BC

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load‑out
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non‑conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

Specialized education is not required.

No experience necessary.

• Physical Efforts:
  Sorting, Reaching, Standing, Physical strength – Lifting/Lowering up to 70 pounds, Manual dexterity
• Mental Efforts:
  Attention to Details Required, Concentration on precision work
