Customer Sales and Service Rep

With over 50 facilities located across Canada and 650 Associates, Applied® supports the steel, mining, forestry, agriculture, automotive, oil and gas, food processing, power generation, pulp and paper, and transportation industries, just to name a few.

In addition, Applied provides engineering, design and systems integration for industrial, fluid power, and flow control applications, as well as customized mechanical, fabricated rubber, fluid power, and flow control shop services.

• Inside Sales responsibilities
• Directly engaged in all sales activities
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings
• Prospecting for new customers and demonstrating product benefits
• Build ongoing relationships with customers
• Responding to customer product inquiries both in person (branch) and via phone/email
• Providing support to the outside sales force
• Ensuring accurate, timely order processing through the computerized order processing system

• 2 or more years of Industrial or Fluid Power components sales experience
• Self-motivated
• Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed
• Interest in customer satisfaction and desire to provide excellent service always
• Ability to multitask in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Analytical and problem solving capability
• Computer literacy with focus on Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP
• SAP experience would be an asset
