Position: Head Brewer – The Noble Pig Brewhouse | The Noble Pig Brewhouse

Noble Pig Brewhouse in Kamloopsfeatures incredible craft brews paired with meticulously created food using only the best ingredients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a brew schedule for our flagship recipes and rotating seasonals.
  • Managing an intensive brewing program.
  • Develop fun and exciting recipes for ongoing seasonal rotating brews.
  • Transferring beer in between different stages of fermentation/conditioning.
  • Managing the cellaring/packaging of beer through serving tanks, kegs, bottles, and cans.
  • Cleaning and maintaining draught lines and serving equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by being aware of the hazards associated with working in a production brewery.
  • Safely handling dangerous cleaning chemicals and specialized tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues immediate solutions.
  • Be an advocate for our brewing program. This includes:
    Advanced tasting knowledge, organizing and supporting our presence at festivals and events, and becoming a go-to source of knowledge in the building for questions regarding our brewery and beer styles.
  • Availability to work early morning shifts before service begins.
  • Serving it right certification to assist with beer samples and bar service.
  • Facilitate team training to share product knowledge and the brewing process.
  • Conduct brewery tours for events and guest requests.
  • Attend off-site events to promote our business and beer programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of experience working in a full-time brewing position.
  • Any trades experience, such as plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, etc.
  • Experience packaging products in kegs, bottles, or cans.

Bonus

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with graphic design software to create and maintain product labels.
  • Cicerone certification or any other beverage or spirit training completed.
