PWT is looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Labourers (Plant Spare board) at our Golden, B.C. mill.

As a General Labourer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our production operations running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to build a career in the engineered wood products industry with a company that values safety, teamwork, and employee development.

Hourly Wage: $34.87

• Perform a variety of hands‑on production tasks such as lifting, carrying, pulling, and sorting veneer
• Operate machinery and equipment
• Play a crucial role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• Inspect products to ensure they meet our quality standards
• Assist with loading and unloading materials or finished products
• Work closely with teammates and supervisors to meet production goals
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Get trained in new jobs as opportunities arise

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Physically capable of performing labour‑intensive tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs., repetitive motions, being on your feet for long periods, climbing stairs, bending, gripping tools, etc.)
• Flexibility to work different shifts and hours as needed
• Proven commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to stay focused and engaged for an entire shift
• Previous experience in manufacturing or a related work environment with similar safety considerations
• Shows a strong attention to detail
• Ability to quickly comprehend and follow instructions, both verbal and written
• Ability to adapt, learn, and perform different job tasks as business needs change
• Good communication and listening skills
• Proven track record of excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and can demonstrate a proactive mindset
• Able to pass a standard physical fitness assessment and drug and alcohol testing as part of our standard screening process
