The City of Revelstoke is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to serve as the Roads Superintendent. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this senior role provides strategic and operational leadership across the City’s roads, drainage, refuse and organics collection, and fleet functions, ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient municipal services.
The Roads Superintendent oversees staffing, service levels, contractor performance, budget planning, and regulatory compliance, while providing direction on operational priorities, asset management, and long-term infrastructure renewal. The role also supports labour‑relations processes, performance management of supervisory staff, and the development of operational guidelines and capital programs. As the City’s employer representative for Roads operations, the position plays a key role in decision‑making related to service delivery, risk management, and organizational accountability.
The ideal candidate is a proven public works leader with extensive experience in roads or municipal operations, strong people‑management and communication skills, and a commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and high‑quality public service. They bring sound judgment, operational insight, and the ability to lead teams and contractors in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.

Salary: $95,000 – $105,000
