The successful candidate will hold a Red Seal in a Building/Construction Trade, consideration will also be given candidates who also have a Power Engineering Ticket. This position is responsible for facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.

* Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Review inspection and repair documents for accuracy, completeness and adherence to scope requirements
* Track and provide technical input/recommendations on inspection and repair reports
* Using the CMMS program, maintain a history of all inspections and repairs
* Contact the appropriate vendors for prompt repairs
* Maintain responsibility for facility equipment and day to day repairs
* Follow-up on recommendations for improvement and ensure implementation
* Ability to work with limited supervision and have the ability to prioritize work
* Maintenance of equipment, cleaning and maintaining areas, performing scheduled PM services.

* Qualifications:

*** Red Seal in a Building/Construction Trade, with preference given to those candidates who have a Power Engineering Ticket will also be considered
* Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a facility maintenance related role is mandatory
* Proficient in computer maintenance management systems
* Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment standards
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present effectively
* Strong planning and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
* Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to adapt with ever changing business needs and implement continuous improvement opportunities
* Exceptionally strong relationship management skills with a strong customer focus
** Important Details:
*** This is a 4x3, Tuesday to Friday, shift located in Kamloops
* Travel to other branches may be required
