Job SummaryThe QA Analyst 3 delivers efficient, effective, collaborative, and continuously improving testing and test artifacts, and is responsible for formulating, advocating, and implementing QA best practices across teams s role is responsible for helping plan and lead continuous improvement of our practice.
Key Accountabilities- Acts as a subject matter expert, (or technical lead) participating in QA road mapping, with a particular focus on helping implement contributions to organizational objectives.
- Delivers improvements to the QA capability acting as a consultant across teams by sharing innovative ideas and assisting in their implementation. Examples of areas of improvement include framework roadwork ownership and advancement, continuously expanding automation footprint, implementing common metrics, and reporting and expanding pipeline readiness/participation, etc.
- Takes a lead role in addressing complex technical challenges and handles escalations for major issues. Provides guidance and expert level solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Leads test activities across teams, and directs and reports on overall activities, while removing roadblocks.
- Collaborates with teams and stakeholders both inside and outside the capability to understand business requirements and to design, document, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Serves as scrum master, administering QA owned technologies, T‑Skilling, participating in committees, and helping team adapt to changing priorities.
- Represents BCLC interests and maximizes value in interactions and strategic relationships with external stakeholders and partners.
- Leads and supports process improvement initiatives to exceed expected QA accountabilities to benefit the team and/or QA capability.
- Leads and guides QA activities across teams to achieve a greater goal.
- Champions future growth by encouraging new approaches for more effective delivery of products.
- Participates in or leads presentations about QA achievements and/or roadmap.
- Acts as a delegate for their leader as required.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline;
- 4 to 6 years dedicated QA experience;
- At least 5 years of dedicated, progressive experience – preferably across multiple organizations;
- Assorted certifications (or demonstrated learnings) in QA technologies, best practices, and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced knowledge and experience in testing and crafting best in class test artifacts (test cases, runs and defects) - can write artifacts quickly, while considering reusability, size, and audience. Experience advising team members and external teams on best practices in this area;
- Enhanced knowledge and experience in common defect and test management systems. Experience using these tools to maximum effectiveness, preferably demonstrating experience with tool integration, reporting, administration, and clean‑up;
